The International Advertising Association will be hosting its annual Africa Rising Conference in Accra, Ghana from October 4th to 5th.
This year's conference, which is themed "Brands for Purpose, Brands for People," will feature speakers from Africa and around the world, including the Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Ghana's Minister of Information, Olalekan Olumuyiwa Fadolapo, the Registrar of the Advertising Regulators Council of Nigeria, and Kate Cronin, the Chief Brand Officer of Moderna.
At the conference, I'll be moderating a panel, "Creating Effective Advertising in Africa in an Evolving Legal Landscape." The panel will include the following speakers, all of whom are members of the Global Advertising Lawyers Alliance:
