The Federal Trade Commission announced that it will be holding an Open Commission Meeting on Thursday, September 15th.

Here's what's on the agenda:

  • The Commission will vote on whether to start a rulemaking on impersonation fraud;
  • There will also be a vote on whether to issue an enforcement policy statement related to "gig work"; and
  • FTC staff will do a presentation on "dark practices," and then the Commission will vote on whether to issue the staff report, "Bringing Dark Patterns to Light."

The meeting, which will be held virtually, is open to the public and begins at 1:00 p.m. ET.
