New York City Bar Hosts "Hot Topics in Advertising & Marketing Law" Program

Next Friday, the New York City Bar will be hosting its 18th annual "Hot Topics in Advertising & Marketing Law" program.  The program will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The goal of this annual program is to provide an update of the most important developments affecting advertisers over the last year.  We'll be covering developments from the Federal Trade Commission, the New York Attorney General's Office, the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs and Worker Protection, and the National Advertising Division.  We'll also be covering other other hot topics, such as consumer privacy, sweepstakes and contests, and the new SAG/AFTRA Commercials Contract.

I'll be chairing the program, and will be joined by Tamala T. Boyd (New York City Department of Consumer Affairs and Worker Protection), Eric Unis (National Advertising Division), Barry Benjamin (Kilpatrick Townsend), Greg Hessinger (Mitchell Silberberg), and James Mariani (Frankfurt Kurnit).
