According the media reports, the Colorado State Senate is expected to pass a measure that would require additional disclosures in connection with political advertising.

Currently, Colorado only requires disclosure of who paid for the advertising for thirty days before the primary and sixty days before the election.  The new law, if passed, would require disclosures in almost all campaign ads between the primary and the general election.

The bill -- Expand Disclosure Electioneering Communications -- is sponsored by Senators Rachel Zengiger and Jack Take and Representative Mike Weissman.
