Flat Tummy Co Faces Backlash Over Charges of Running Sexist Advertising Campaign

Flat Tummy Co is facing criticism after launching a large pink billboard in New York City's Times Square which features a young woman and the copy, "Got Cravings?  Girl, Tell Them To #SUCKIT."

The billboard, which promotes the company's appetite suppressant lollipops and other products, was criticized for targeting young women (and not men) and for an appetite-shaming message.

According to its website, the company's mission is, "From one girl to another, we're going to help you get back on track, your tummy flat and feeling freaking good."  The company says that its lollipops contain an ingredient called Satiereal, which it says works to maximize satiety.
