Zimbabwe Relaunches Advertising Self-Regulation Program

With the economy improving in Zimbabwe, the country has relaunched its advertising self-regulation program, the Advertising Standards Authority Zimbabwe ("ASAZIM").  

ASAZIM enforces the Code of Standards, which is available at http://www.asazim.co.zw/asa-codes/.  If an advertiser fails to comply, ASAZIM can direct the advertiser to stop running the advertising and pay a small fine.  ASAZIM also publishes its decisions on its website. 

As Robert Mugabe loosened his grip and stepped down from power in Zimbabwe, everyone looks forward to more trade, investment and an improved economy.
