Interested in legal issues affecting commercial production?  Here are two upcoming events that you may be interested in.

On May 30th, SHOOT Magazine hosts the annual New Directors Showcase at the DGA Theater.  The event includes panel discussions, a screening, and an after-party.  I'll be speaking on a panel, moderated by SHOOT editor Robert Goldrich, entitled "Living on the Cutting Edge of Content."  

On June 6th, the Association of Independent Commercial Producers hosts the annual Business Affairs Boot Camp.  I'll be speaking on our annual "Lawyers on the Clock"  panel, where we're forced to answer difficult legal advertising and production-related questions in under two minutes.   The Boot Camp will also include a session on the new SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.
