On October 12th, the New York City Bar is hosting its annual "Hot Topics in Advertising & Marketing Law" CLE program.  This program, which I've chaired for more than 15 years, provides an annual update on key advertising law topics.

I'll be speaking on FTC enforcement priorities.  Mihir Kshirsagar from the New York Attorney General's Office will talk about enforcement at the state level.  Hal Hodes, from the National Advertising Division, will talk about key, recent NAD cases.

We'll then have a presentations from Laura Smith, the Legal Director of Truth in Advertising, on hot button consumer protection issues, Greg Hessinger, from Mitchell Silberberg, on SAG/AFTRA issues, and Chris Chase, from Frankfurt Kurnit, on sports marketing issues.

It should be a good program, which can be attended live or by webinar.
