"Free the Bid" Encourages Hiring of Female Directors

According to recent media reports, an increasing number of companies and advertising agencies are signing on to the "Free the Bid" pledge to include a bid from a woman on every commercial the company or agency produces.

, which is a non-profit organization, says that some agencies have increased the number of jobs directed by women from 50% to 400%.  

The whole corporate world needs to fix its diversity issue – because it’s the right thing to do, but also because it’s a good idea for business.
