NFL Rejects "Please Stand" Ad From Veterans Group

The NFL has rejected a print advertisement submitted by a veterans group for inclusion in the Super Bowl commemorative program.  

The advertising was rejected by the NFL on the grounds that it was political.  The headline of the ad is "#PleaseStand." 

The Super Bowl game program is designed for fans to commemorate and celebrate the game, players, teams and the Super Bowl. It's never been a place for advertising that could be considered by some as a political statement.
