This morning, the FTC formally announced that it is closed due to the government shutdown. Here's a quick recap:
1. The FTC's website and social media properties won't be updated during the shutdown;
2. The National Do Not Call Registry will not be available; and
3. Various other online services will not be available, including the Consumer Sentinel Network (for law enforcement) and the Complaint Assistant (for filing consumer complaints).
